Papers are due October 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
Before you start your paper, please visit your account on https://my.eeri.org/. Visit the"Account" tab on the "My Profile" page to verify that all your personal and contact information is correct.
In response to widespread feedback, the conference organizers have decided to provide a grace period for uploading papers. We strongly encourage anyone planning to submit a paper to begin the paper submission process now and fill out the form with your paper title and topic area by the September 30 deadline. This information is important for the technical program committee to be able to assess the range of program content. The grace period will allow you to return to the submission form, upload your paper, and submit payment through October 15, 2025. Authors whose papers are accepted will have the opportunity to submit revisions in early 2026.
We are aware some paper submitters are affected by the current U.S. government shutdown. We will work to ensure anyone who is furloughed or otherwise unable to submit their paper by the deadline due to the shutdown can complete their paper submissions in a reasonable time frame after the shutdown ends. If you are in this group, please complete this short form to alert us, and we will contact you with instructions once the shutdown ends.
Each submitted paper is subject to a publication submission fee that varies by EERI membership type. Please see the table below to learn more about these fees. Membership rates are given to those who have a 2025 EERI membership. Individuals are eligible for an Affiliate membership if they live in the countries listed here. If you are not an EERI member, please join here before starting your paper submission!

EERI is also offering a limited number of publication submission fee waivers for individuals who are unable to pay the fees listed above. If you are seeking a waiver, please apply here: https://forms.gle/frSrD6y5RnJitP2XA.
Waivers will be awarded on a rolling basis starting September 22, 2025. The final deadline to apply is September 30, 2025. It is recommended to apply before September 22 for priority consideration. Waivers will be awarded based on need and available funding.
You must have completed your paper submission, up to the point of payment, to be considered for this waiver.
